Description
Here is anice 19th century naval boarding axe in good original condition. The iron head has a nice patina from age with a nicely shaped blade with a four sided back spike. The ball end shaped wooden handle has a nice patina from age which can be seen in the photos. The head is tight on the handle with no looseness. In total measuring 17.6 inches long and the head measures 10.2 inches wide with a 2.8 inch long blade. Originally from Leith docks, Edinburgh from a gentleman\'s collection.
