A VERY FINE EARLY 19TH CENTURY AMERICAN HAND TURNED SMALL SIZE WOODEN DEEP BOWL WITH UNUSUALLY THICK SIDES AND A FULL BOTTOM RIMMED BASE. NEW ENGLAND, CIRCA 1820-1840 IN ITS ORIGINAL AND WELL WORN APPLE GREEN PAINTED SURFACE AND PATINA. MAPLE.

THIS BOWL IS MUCH BETTER IN PERSON. THE PHOTOS MAKE IT APPEAR LIGHTER AND BRIGHTER THAN IT IS.

A VERY UNUSUAL THICK SIDED BOWL WITH A NICE BEVELED TOP EDGE.
THE PAINT IS ORIGINAL AND WELL WORN.
