FREE SHIPPING PRIORITY MAIL Hi, have a 1917 patent dated hasp latch hardware store display or salesman sample display, I have seen newer Boye salesman sample latches from 1923 mounted on the same board setup as this one but this is the first 1917 salesman sample latch/hasp I have seen. It is mounted on a display board so you can open the latch and see how it operates, when you close the door the latch automatically lifts and goes into a \"latched position\" keeping the door shut until you lift the latch up, it also has the \"loops\" where you can put a padlock and lock the door as well. NOTE: THE LATCH AND BOARD has been cleaned and buffed and coated with lacquer, the latch/hasp is mostly shiny with some rust pits in the surface, see pictures for more detail.
