Vintage and very collectible as this model can be programmed in the BASIC programming language in addition to playing the built in games or cartridge based games. Here is the portion of the instruction manual I found online discussing the BASIC programming.
If you check the photos you\'ll see that it still has the little yellow quality inspector sticker on the bottom of it from the factory.How is this sticker still here looking brand new after 22 years?!?! Somebody took really good care of this no doubt about it!
Tested all the keys and they work great. Cartridge slot is super clean and all cartridge contacts are in excellent clean condition. Cartridge slot cover is included and in great shape. Battery compartment is super clean with no corrosion on the battery terminals. Foam is still present on the back of the battery compartment cover. Caps lock light works. High / Low contrast switch works. Makes cool sounds when turned on and plays a little melody in retro electronic tones.
All in all a very clean and collectible little portable computer from back in the day from Vtech educational electronics.
