A nice porcelain figure of "Scaramuz" from the Commedia dell'Arte series, made by Nymphenburg ca 1900. The figure is originally modelled by Franz Anton Bustelli for Nymphenburg in 1759-60. It shows Scaramuz in a festive mood wearing a beautiful black, grey and white attire. The detail in the figure is of outstanding quality.
The piece measures 20 cm in height and is marked with the impressed shield on the back and the bottom. It is also marked with an impressed 240 and 7. The figure has some slight damage to the shoelaces but is otherwise in good condition.
