Description: I offer here a small rather primitive American folk art tablecloth, featuring seventeen (!) bright bluebirds of every size and shape in flight on heavy natural linen. It is roughly an oval, about 22\" X 20\". The embroidery demonstrates little expertise, but is quite fanciful and full of imagination. The edges are trimmed with early Barmen machine-made Cluny-type lace in blue and cream. I find no damage and no stains. Remarkably good condition, clean and pressed, ready to use.Please enlarge my photos for close up views of quality, motif and handwork.
