Here we have a beautifully engraved ladies compact created by The Kolynos Co., it is also marked Pat. 7-1-24. The front of the compact is very nicely engraved with flowers and curlycues and in the center, it is engraved Nalgiri. The back is also nicelydecorated with concentric wave bands emanatingfrom the center out to the edge. The inside has the manufacturer and it to is nicely engraved. I believe the piece was originally silverplated and in some areas you can detect somewear, however, the item shows well.
