The first 5 pics are inside with flash - I took some outside as well, on my concrete driveway in the hazy sunlight, these look washed out, so true color is represented in first 5 inside photos.
Here is a unique, beautiful and older NAVAJO BANDED TWILL WEAVE DOUBLE SADDLE / HORSE BLANKET. It is in EXCELLENT Condition for age with a beautiful Repeating Diamond pattern. This blanket is hand woven from hand spun and hand carded wools. All the wool colors, except for the yellow and gold, are made from hand carded natural sheep wool. The yellow and gold are hand dyed with Navajo Reservation / local Vegetal Dyes. The Twill Weave Technique is excellent for saddle blankets, a blanket made this way is very strong and durable, thick as well, so it can absorb the shock of a rough horse ride.

The size of this textile is approximately 55\" X 31\",with a wool warp of 6 (thick and strong warp), and a hand spun Wool Weft of 30-32- a beautifully designed and well constructed piece of NativeAmerica!CONDITION - Excellent (Please see all pics!): NO old dry/tired/bad wool, all wool is in superb condition, NO Frays, NO Bug/insect damage, NO Holes, NO stains (very clean), and NO fading of color. The End Selvage Cords are 100% intact - a thick braid of hand dyed gold/yellow wools. The Side Selvage Cords are 100% intact and present as well - a twist of two, 2-ply yellow/gold wools. The corners are in excellent condition with all 4 corner ties present and intact (see pic of corners).
