Navajo husband & wife duo,\"Verna & Franklin Tahe\" are noted for their traditional Navajo work & if you ever seen the movie\"The Horse Whisperer\",you will see one of their pieces, that found it\'s way to Robert Redford..
These earrings are somewhat ornate,where they decorated around the turquoise with lots of hand made appliques..The turquoise is from the Nevada Carico Lake mine & comes natural/un-treated & are cut somewhat \'mirrored\'..Meaning they have a \'right & a left\' if you choose to wear them that way.The repousse dangles add to their look.
You can forget the polishing rag with these,since they are given a vintage revival matte finish to the metal.They are very wearable & are perfect for one who loves the beauty of Native American turquoise jewelry,but without the added weight that some are known to have!
