I am pleased to offer this understatedly elegant day dress, hailing back to the Post War years! Don\'t sit under the apple tree with anyone else but me! This dress is in very good shape for its age; a truly gently pre-loved number!

The Navy synthetic fabric is very sheer; a slip is a must! This garment has just the tiniest of shoulder pads to add form. Interior workmanship shows unfinished seams, typical of the day. It has an ILGWU tag. I found nofabric label; I am guessing it\'sa Rayon Blend. It is wrinkle resistant, and the fabric still has a stiffer new feel.

A center anterior metal zipper with two snaps (and an oversized button) are offeredfor aneasy don/doff. The dress has its original belt, but only has one belt loop. There are no pockets. There are no seam failures or seam stresses noted on the garment. The belt requires a less than one inch area of re-stitchingand will be taken to the tailor for that. I did not Dry clean or launder this garment.
