I plugged in the transformer and the light comes on the control panel but I can\'t get any sound effects or the train to move. I can only guess that there is something not making a connection somewhere so if you have the transformer or you want to run this on another \"G\" track then have at it.
Also, one of the curve pieces has a place where the plastic has broken. This doesn\'t affect the track from being able to join another curve or straight but you could either glue the plastic back together or find another track piece to replace it. If you\'d like a picture of this I\'ll add on if requested.
Now, Since I can\'t get the transformer to work I haven\'t had the train move or the cars light up so this is sold as you see it. The opening offer reflects that I can\'t vouch for it\'s working condition.
