From a New Orleans estate, here is a Mardi Gras krewe favor from the 1948 Athenians ball - a lovely gold tone bracelet featuring a masker\'s face and set with ruby-colored and clear rhinestones. All stones present. Clearly marked on clasp \"Athenians 1948.\" This piece is a real beauty and anyone would be proud to wear it. No Box. No condition issues. Measures about 6 inches long, not counting the clasp. This group has been around for over 100 years - still active - one of the \"social\" Carnival krewes. These favors are never offered for sale to the general public - you have to be one of the lucky ladies at the (invitation only) ball to get one. Highly collectible and sought after. No returns.
