EUREKA ANTWERP ANTIQUESSplendid 17th or early 18th century more than probably Flemish or German and well carved wood sculpture of a Madonna with Child. Look at the pictures these will tell much more than my description. This marvellous carved wood figure of the Madonna is in the condition as depicted, which is good consisted with age and normal use. There are the usual wood cracks and light damage, see pictures. As you can see on the last picture there is still the hand forger hook which was used to hold the statue on here place. This nice sculpture is about 21 ½” (54,5cm) tall. An absolute must for collectors.
