NICE ANTIQUE GEORGIAN NEEDLE BODKIN CASE FRENCH FIGURAL LADY SILVER SEWING BOX:

This is for a fabulous old French silver figural needle case from around the 1830s. The tall case is fashioned as a bust of a lady with exquisite fine detailing to her face, her garland and headdress. The case is decorated the same on both sides and it has a nice finial detail on the base. It has the French boars head silver stamps on the inside bezel and a makers mark in a diamond. It is in very good condition with no surface wear to the decoration, there is a small ding on one side of the case but that\'s all. It measures 93mm (3.75\") tall by 19mm (0.75\") across at the top.
