I marked this and the other one I am selling as from France, but maybe at the time these were in use it might have been some French area. This one unlike the other I just listed has a silver or metal looking Scabbard on it as shown. Also nicely marked in many places and on the top of blade on this one, I guess again it is the armory it was made in says, \"L Deny Paris 1881. It looks like Paris but it may be something else as it is also in cursive and no dot over what may be an i. I know this means alot to people but this is about all I can make out except that it is very clear. Thank you
