Beautifully OrnateBrass Circus Lion Sculpture

This is a beautiful Brass or Bronze? Circus Lion. There is a dark lacquer or clearcoat finish applied to the surface like you see in many high end pieces to protect the finish and prevent corrosion.

The base is 7” x 11” by almost 16” tall !!! This is a big sculpture.

This weighs14 - 1/2lbs.

I\'m not sure what the purpose of the top is? Maybe a candle holder? There is no spike. The round piece measures 3 -1/4 inches in diameter.

Overall very good condition. This was purchased from a local estate that sold several brass pieces. I am also selling a few more on . Ido not know if this is an antique, I\'m guessing it is. It does look fairly old.Please preview all pictures as they demonstrate condition. I tried my very best to describe this to the best of my ability; I am not overly experienced.
