Beautiful, original antique map of Italy by Nicholas Visscher (1616-1709). Hand colored copper engraving on laid paper. Map bears tape strips on reverse. Very minor areas of flake loss at centerfold split as seen in detail photos. Some gentle wrinkling and areas of vertical toning upper margin. Remnants of old mounting strips appear in left and right margins. Minor vertical tears in margin as seen in detail photos.
