No. 1520, Antique Ketcham McDougall Gold & Sterling Size 7 Chased Scroll Thimble:

I am moving from North America to the Caribbean Islands and I am unable to take all of my beautiful antiques collections with me and therefore I am saleing this Antique Ketcham McDougall Gold & Sterling Size 7 Thimble.
On the exterior of the thimble it has lovely raised scrollwork around the bottom 14k Gold band and the usual dimpling around the top and sides and playful design. There\'s is no monogram or engraving in the engraving plate area on the thimble for this thimble could be still personalized. On the side of the thimble there is a number \"8\" stamped next to the engraving plate confirming the size of the thimble.
On the interior of the thimble at the bottom are the scripted letters \"MKD\" the confirmed Hallmark of Ketcham & McDougall Company and it is further stamped \"STERLING\" to confirming that the thimble also is Sterling Silver.
This Antique Ketcham McDougall Gold & Sterling Size 7 Thimble is in superb condition with some very slight scratches. This wonderful antique thimble would make a very nice addition to your collection.
