Listing this pair of matching weighted Norleans Horse Head Ceramic Bookends. Each horse head bookend is 5 1/4\" tall, 2.5\" across the base and back, 4 1/4\" from back to end of nose and then put them together they are almost 9\" from nose to nose. These are very striking bookends and they caught my eye at an estate sale. I think they sort of resemble the Budweiser horses, but if not, they appear to me to represent the big draft horses. On the bottom of each piece, there is a silver/red sticker that says \"Norleans Japan\" as well as same information \"Fill here with sand cover with tape\". Well, these have been filled with sand and the hole covered with a piece of tape. There are nicks in the paint on both horse\'s heads, but that tells me they were used by someone. What child who loves horses and loves to read would not want to have these in their room even with the little nicks. Maybe there is some way to fill in these spots, but I wasn\'t comfortable in trying that.
