Gorgeous original signed vintage painting on paper,professionally framed and matted under original glass. I was told this is either Russian or Polish costume. Provenance of painting is on back. Painting is signed Doris Dingwell with the date of 1948.We had the painting professionally reframedand matted with the original glass in 1999 but the actual painting dates to 1948.Matte is a pastel green.Painting is in very nice clean condition.Wooden frameis in near mint condition. We used the original old glass and there are some scratches to on glass which can be seen. Paper backing shows slight wear on back. Scratches are not obstrusive butagain, they can be seen. Thepainting is done inexquisite detail.Overall sizewhich includes frame, is approximately 15 by17 inches. Matte is approximately 2 1/4 inches and actual painting is approximately 8.25 by 10.25 inches. Painting is evenly square all around.

Please note one sale image was taken with a camera and has some glare. The other sale image was taken on our scanner. Neither image is exact correct coloring. I tried many times and due to the reason this has glass, I cannot get a clear precise image due to camera glare. Colors are gorgeous in person.
