Beautiful Pair of Working Vintage French Figural Lamps with Lamp Shades

Description

A Gorgeous pair of Antique Plaster & Brass Base La Grace De Dieu & Sans-Famille French Figural Lamps. Lamps based on characters from the 19th century French novel, ‘Sans Famille’ by Hector Malot (1878).The lamps were made circa 1930. The titles are in French and translate \"Without Family\" on the man and \"The Grace of God\" on the woman. They are beautiful and stunning to look at - these lamps will most definitely be the focal point of any room theyare placed in. The lamps stand approximately 34\" tall from base to very top of finial. They are in GREAT condition with some minor wear as expected in accordance with age. No chips or damage. Both lamps work well.

The female lamp \"Grace De Dieu\" is more rare. Currently on sale at Brady\'s Distinctive Lighting (you can view at 1stdibs.com) for $750.

Lamp shades are very clean and bright with no missing fringe. Color is soft pink.

Lamps and shades will be professionally packaged. They are very heavy - about 20 pounds together.
