This is an original antique Planters Peanuts jar from the counter top of a general store in Millville NS. I acquired it from the granddaughter of the original store owner. This wonderful piece is very large measuring some 13 1/2\" high with the lid. The only issue with this item from 1932 is that there is a chip on the underside of the lid however it is not even noticeable when the lid is deployed. It is rare to even have the lid. I felt around the edge of the jar and there are absolutely no chips or cracks there. The main jar has no chips or cracks. The bottom of the jar says \"Made in USA\". This is the \"large\" planters peanuts jar, the coveted one that all collectors are looking for.
