This \"Buy It Now\" Sale is for an ORIGINAL World War Two US Army 15th Corps, Engineer Special Brigades \"Ike\" Jacket with Shirt and Tie. This Ike Jacket Remains in EXCELLENT CONDITION and is a Near Perfect Example. The Jacket shows Virtually NO Signs of Age, Wear or Use. There is NO Mothing, Soiling, Staining, Fading or Streaking to Any of the Material and NO Damage to Any Material or Stitching. The Jacket Remains Truly Excellent In Every Respect Inside and Out. The Patches Remain Excellent and Firmly Applied. The Collar Discs Remain Excellent and Maintain their Proper WWII Flat Faced Clutches. The Three Place Ribbon Bar is a Pin Back and Also Remains Excellent. This Jacket Remains All Original and Exactly as it Was at the End of WWII. It is Listed as a SIZE 38S. The MEASUREMENTS ARE: CHEST = 20 Inches from Center Armpit Seam to Center Armpit Seam Measured Across the Front when Buttoned and Laying Flat; BACK = 19 1/4 Inches From Shoulder Seam to Shoulder Seam Measured Across the Upper Back, Just Below the Collar; SLEEVES = 24 Inches from Top Shoulder Seam to Cuff. There are NO Service Numbers, Names, Partial Service Numbers or Anything of that Nature that Would Allow us to Identify the Soldier who Once Wore this Ike Jacket.The Shirt is An Original Early War Style Enlisted Wool and Remains in GOOD CONDITION with NO Soiling, Staining, Fading or Streaking. There are three or four Scattered Moth Nips with One to the Front Just to the Viewer\'s Right of the Second Button from the Top that is Approximately the Size of a Pencil Lead. There are also Two to the Center of the Lower Back. There are Also FOUR Small Holes to the LOWER Rear Skirt to the LEFT Side that appear as though the Material Snagged on Something and Was Torn. All of this Can be Seen if You Examine the Photo of the Back of the Shirt Closely. None of the Blemishes Can be Seen When the Shirt is Displayed as Worn. All Buttons Remains Firmly in Place and in Excellent Condition. The Shirt is Marked as a SIZE 14 1/2 x 33 To the Collar. The MEASUREMENTS Are: CHEST = 21 Inches; BACK = 17 Inches; SLEEVES = 24 Inches. All Measured in the Same Manner as Described Above. The Tie is A WWII Era Heavy Cotton Version that We Added for Display Purposes. It bears names and service numbers but they are NOT of the person who wore the Ike. Tie remains in Excellent Condition.Overall, This is an Excellent, Untouched, Unaltered \"Ike\" Jacket to Add to Your Collection.
