This outstanding piece is part of our own personal matching French Bedroom suite which we have owned for nearly a decade and have now decided to sell due to a decor change at our home.
It is,simplyput, outstanding!
The piece dates to Circa 1860 - 1880 and is made from the finest solid walnut.
The Armoire has everything going for it, including tall rising finial, geometric mouldings and even fully panelled sides which is a good sign of top quality.
The piece has a pair of twin mirrored doors (one of which is beveled the other is not) and once opened it reveals an adjustable bank of two drawers and lots of storage space for clothes, shoes etc
The huge Bun feet are extremely impressive, giving the piece a very commanding andelegantpresence
As stated above the condition is superb commensurate with it\'s age of 140 years + and the piece has a fabulous rich aged patination.
