Oak Tiger Wood Library 4 Drawer Card Catalog - \"Library Bureau Sole Makers\"

This is a very nice 4 drawer cabinet , Library Bureau Sole Makers card catalog.

It is in original condition. No restoration has been done, has a very nice patina on the wood and the hardware. Is made of oak, sometimes called tiger oak, but in fact is quarter sawn oak. There are some normal signs of wear. Very interesting dovetail construction, which of course is a hallmark of fine cabinetry. Don\'t know the exact year of construction but appears to be from the very early 1900s. Has been in use at the Missouri historical society until recently purchased at an sale.
