octagonal vase from San Shan Dao, China; flower decoration with gold accent:

I found this vase at a second hand shop.It is lovely. It stands 11 inches high and is eight sided with a maximum width of 4 inches. It weighs 1 lb 11.6 ounces. I think the design is cherry blossoms in gold, reddish orange, and white on a crooked blue tree with some chrysanthemums with green leaves at the bottom. The design is one side and it is plain on the back. The gold trim at top has some wear. There is a paper label glued to the top front of the vase and red painted marks on the bottom. This tells me it is not an antique. Since it is all written in Chinese, I think it was not an export, but may have been bought in China?I have researched the marks and label. I could be wrong, but I believe the top 4 marks on the label says \"making pottery\" and the bottom three name the location of \"San Shan Dao, China. On the bottom of the vase, in red, is the same three characters representing \"San Shan Dao\". On the internet the Island of San Shan Dao is in Lake Tai near Shanghai, China. Also, I had someone read the three marks as \"three Mountains, China\". In my research I found the Island of San Shan supposedly has three mountains? I have not seen a comparable on the internet in my searches, so I believe it to be rare?
