Offering a unique original tempera painting, signedPiet Mondrian, inscribed Piet Mondrian, in initials inthe lower right and in full on reverse. The artwork comes with a registrationcertificate at National Fine Arts Title Registry, with a transfer of registrycertificate to the new owner, transfer of ownership and a COA which came withthe artwork when acquired. The artwork is offered and described in thedocumentation as in manner of the artist. The condition of the artwork is verygood, as pictured, common aging of the paper can be noticed. The artwork isalso stamped on reverse from the previous collection, and has a referencenumber marked on verso.

Piet Mondrian,one of the founders of the Dutch modern movement De Stijl,is recognized for the purity of his abstractions and methodical practice bywhich he arrived at them. He radically simplified the elements of his paintings toreflect what he saw as the spiritual order underlying the visible world, creating a clear,universal aesthetic language within his canvases. In his best known paintings from the1920s, Mondrian reduced his shapes to lines and rectangles and his palette tofundamental basics pushing past references to the outside world toward pure abstraction.His use of asymmetrical balance and a simplified pictorial vocabulary were crucial inthe development of modern art, and his iconic abstract works remain influential indesign and familiar in popular culture to this day.
