This sale features a vintage wood carving of a bird on a man\'s head. I am guessing it is from the SENUFO people of North Ivory Coast, Africa. The head has been embellished with shells, human hair, feathers, rafia, and cloth. It also has red and white painted design elements. I am not an expert on African Art, and know nothing about this large , heavy piece. No terrible damage or repairs to report. Privately held in the same family until now. A market fresh estate piece.
