Up on the sale block is a late 1930\'s early 1940\'s Reach model 232FH wing back leatherfootball helmet with large heavy wood display stand! As the photos show, the helmet is in great condition! It hasfew light signs of game wear but no damage (see all photos for condition). The leatheris nice and supple and has a great look! It has it\'s 100% original intimidating jet blackpatina!No dyes, colored polishes, or coloring of any kind used. It looks a lot like a Chicago Bears helmet. The hard shell crown of the helmet is also in great shape and still retains the original factory jet black paint. It has the original cloth chin strap with leather FOB. The leather interior of the helmet is in great shape as well. All the leather is present and is still soft and supple. There are only light signs of wear (see last 2 photos).All of the inner suspension straps are present and firmly attached to the leather center connecting pad. Marked on the connecting pad is the REACH makers mark. There is another REACH logo on the center of the forehead. Marked on the back of the helmet is the model # 232FH and the size 7 1/4. The AMAZING hand made display stand is included and will be shipped along with the helmet! It is made of wood with brown strips of leather lining the sides. It is a large, heavy, and well built stand!
This antique Reach leather football helmet and stand will be the head turner of anyone\'scollection. It will look awesome displayed in your home, office, sports room, etc! It will make a killergift for a Chicago Bears fan!
