Here is an early 20th century Indonesian edged weapon that also served as a utility chopper, or \"golok\". This one is well made and measures 15.5in. overall, with a blade of 10.75in. The blade is double fullered and chiseled at the forte. The hilt is water buffalo horn and has bone spacers and eyes for the bird formed pommel. The scabbard is fine and deeply carved hardwood and features a carved-in belt attachment.
