I found this old clock in a terrible state. It had no chains, weights, or pendulum and both bellows were torn. The face (now new) was missing numbers, cracked, and it had no hour or minutehand (replaced). Someone had used wood screws to hold it together in places. There was a small bird on the top that looked ridiculous which has been replaced with the stag head and antlers. The mechanism has been oiled, cleaned and now operates correctly and keeps accurate time. It is quite large(almost two feet tall from the bottom of the pendulum stick to the top of the antlers) and fills the room with its terrific tones and animation every half hour. Its reassuring tick-tock measures the passing minutes. Sure to bring a smile to anyone present and within earshot. Now all it needs is its \"forever\" home. An instantaneous family heirloom.
