Up or your consideration is an oilpainting from Franz Absmeier. He was born in 1900 and I am not sure when hedied.

The paintingmeasures about 10 1/8” x 7 7/8”. It is anoil painting on heavy cardboard- (BildÖl auf Malpappe Der Bauernschuster F.Absmeier München).

XX - Der Bauernschuster FARMER SHOEMAKER

It depicts an old farmer Shoemaker andit delicately painted. On the back is writingin German which I can’t decipher. Please check out the picture to translate onyour own.

It doesn’t come with the frame. It is in decent shape, it has some missingpaint at the ends but overall in great shape. Signature is on the bottom righthand side.
