Undated: AfterGivatayim wasdeclared a city in 1959.

Sizes:46 (up)X 83 cm.

Condition: Slight stained by time,otherwise very fine.

A Museum Piece.

The Symbolshows the smallfarmhouses embedded between

the vast fields that are scatteredamong the hills in the city.

Undated: 1940s\'

Unsigned - Designer unknown

Condition: Folded.Stained (Pigeondroppings?),

Tears - most in the edges.

Givatayim was established in 1922 bypioneers of theSecond Aliyah.

It has a population of 53,000.

The name of the city comes from the\"two hills\" on which it was established:

Borochov Hill and KozlovskyHill.

Kozlovsky is the highest hill in theGush Dan region at 85 metersabove sea level.

The city expanded in the 1930s sothat today it is actually situated on 3 hills,

Borochov, Kozlovsky and RambamHill.

Over time, more neighborhoodsdeveloped: Sheinkin (1936), Givat Rambam (1933),

Kiryat Yosef (1934), andArlozorov (1936).

All these neighborhoods were mergedto form a local council in August 1942.

Givatayim was declared a city in 1959.
