This item is an old ca. 1875, Kansas State Agricultural College (today\'s Kansas State University), 5-1/2 inch sterling silver souvenir spoon, with the spoon having an applied oval medallion that reads \'KSAC\', on the handle front, and with the spoon in excellent condition. There are no dents, no significant wear, no significant scratches, no monograms, nor are there any other significant flaws. Spoon was made by Gorham, and the pattern is called \'Mothers\', which Gorham introduced in 1875 (see Terre Hagan\'s Sterling Flatware book, page 35). K-State was established in 1863, and my wife and I were both students there in 1963, when it turned 100 years old. We purchased the spoon at a recent Midwest estate sale.
