VINTAGE NAVAJO BRACELET WITH SQUARE CUT GREEN TURQUOISEDESCRIPTION

This lovely Navajo bracelet, probably dating to the 1930\'s, is set with a square cut piece of turquoise. The turquoise is light green and is set in a plain bezel. There is a small chip in the turquoise at one corner, but it is stable in its setting. Surrounding the turquoise in its bezel is an applied silver frame with two silver balls at the top, bottom and sides.

The bracelet cuff has a large repousse \"popout\" to each side of the turquoise, and three more, smaller ones to each side of those. The cuff is attractively hand stamped with arrow, arrowhead and scallop designs.

The inside measurement is 5-1/4 inches, with a 1-1/8 inch gap, for a total of 6-3/8 inches. There is very little flexibility to adjust the size. The bracelet measures just over 1/2 inch, top to bottom, at the center.

The bracelet is unmarked. It has a wonderful vintage patina and is in excellent condition.
