This vintage Navajo Indian silver pin has been beautifully crafted and set with a gorgeous turquoise stone. The pin is 2 1/2\" long and weighs 9 grams or .31 ounce. The pin is marked with a UITA 21 hallmark. This is the mark of the United Indian Traders Assoc. which as established in 1931 and guaranteed that a piece had been handmade by a member of an enrolled Native American tribe. The number 21 represented a piece made in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
