James (view pics)not marked sterling but it has tested positive by her jeweler here in town.I have not polished this piece as some of my past customers love the aged patiana Silver gets.(my wife never polished her personal oldies, she loves the patina that aged silver takes on.)Polishing is easy to do yourself if you wish to shine it up.
