Replica Old Sparky Electric Chair similar to an earlier posted chair. But no ankle electrode and no neck brace or headpiece or headpiece display bracket. There is one that will be posted soon with a platform and lighted panel with two knife throw switches. Stay tuned for those postings.
The Features of these chairs are modelled after Ohio State Electric Chair. This chair was retired from exhibit August 2017. The entire electric chair collection is almost gone. Please zoom all photos to take in the awsome craftsmanship on this chair. Dimensions and features are as follows. Approximately 60 inches tall 30 inches wide, 26\" deep with 3 large adjustable levelling feet, which can be unscrewed and removed to install permanent bolt brackets for mounting to the floor. The chair is adorned with thick brown leather seat, fastened in place with heavy bronze upholstery tacks. Also iron shackles, 2 at each bicep, 2 at each upper calf and 2 iron Shoulder shackles. Complete head piece no mounting bracket or neck pad brace. Foot and ankle stocks with 1 inch wide thick brown leather double D ring sashed restraints with secondary side buckles. Wrist restraints with 1\" wide thick brown leather D ring sashed restraints with secondary side buckles as with ankle stocks to insure locked down restraint. Also two sets of 1 1/2\" wide thick heavy brown leather chest and waist restraints with double D ring sashes at each to insure tight restraint. Whomever is bound in this chair will remain bound until released. Bicep and shoulder shackles are fully adjustable upward, downward and inward to adjust from small frame persons to extra large frame persons.
This is a completely finished chair retired from exhibit display with some noticeable ware as would be expected with scratches and scuffs about the entire chair. All leather is real cow hide leather No Fake Vinyl!. There are miscellaneous items pertaining to this collection that will be posted in the near future. 1/4 scale chairs of 2 varieties, 1/2 scale chairs, a desk top lamp and one complete full size chair on a pedestal with lighted switch panel full exhibit display.
