Realisticexcelsior stuffed 5 way jointed antique mohair dog w/working voice- Steiff like!

Thisis a fantastic, fully jointed (head, and legs), with working squeakvoice, glass eyes(one has small chip), excelsior stuffed mohair dog. He is the exact same patterning as the Steiff Spaniel, and the KingCharles spaniel dog, and although the pattern is exact, the mohaircoloring is solid reddish rather than white with red ears etc. Hecould be a spaniel or even a \'mutt\' but I think he looks a bitpeke-a-pom (a Pomeranian pekinese mix :)). He may be a Steiff that issimply not cataloged, or He may be an American or English copy, another German or otherEuropeanmaker, oreven a special custom Steiff creation (which Steiff often did in theearly years for Royalty and such!!!). You be the judge! Nonethelesshe is a wonderful dog, very realistic and in excellent (not perfect)condition for a stuffed toy of 100+ years old! I do believe he wasmade no later than around 1907. This makes him a rare, trueantique (an item of 100 or more years old) toy!!! I have cleaned him up and made him ready for his new home-he is soft and clean! As stated he is inexcellent(for his age) condition; there is very little wear, minorfading, some small areas of bareness overall, on the paws mostly, andface, where I am sure he received MANY kisses!

Hemeasures about 9” tall when standing straight up, and around 13”long tail tip(stretched out behind), to nose tip. I took so many pics and in different light (natural, incandescent, flash) to hopefully show his true spirit and uniqueness!!! Please givethis old guy (or gal) a nice new home!
