10k Yellow Gold, Genuine Seed Pearls and Rubellites
This vintage medal is circa 1947, and would make an excellent addition to any Order of Amaranth collection! The Past Royal Matron pin is adorned with genuine seed pearls and rubellites, which are securely mounted in 10k yellow gold. The top of this jewel features a crown set atop a diamond shaped border. The diamond shaped border has a smooth polished finish, while the crown is accented by five rubellite gemstones. A cable chain hangs from the top plate, and holds a yellow gold wreath. The wreath is accented with wonderful detailing, and features a bow at the base. The center of the wreath displays a five pointed star set with a rubellite stone, a royal crown studded with genuine seed pearls, a sword, and a gavel. The back of the wreath is engraved Mildred E. Scherber P.R.M, Theo Roosevelt Court, No 3, O of A, Jan. 4, 1947. There is some surface wear and discoloration on this medal, and there are two seed peals missing from the crown, as can be expected with a vintage piece. This item has been professionally tested for its 10k gold purity composition, and is fitted with a hinge pin clasp which fastens securely and is in great working order. This badge weighs9.7 grams. The piece measures2 1/2" (63.5mm) long and 1 1/4" (31.4mm) wide. We guarantee this piece to be 10k gold as tested. It has not been cleaned in order to maintain its original vintage integrity.
