This is a quite superb male figure with the hawk to his gauntlet ofwhich:

During our research we have been informed it certainlydates from art deco period of the c1920s.

Signed to base with a foundary mark.

Signed Gotthilf Jaeger, a German sculptor. c18971-1933.

He was part of a recent London house clearance where items of quality from the art deco period where collected.

Superb spelter & ivorine male figure with the coloured finish.

Mounted onto the marble circular base.

The overall height is about 11inches.

Max overall max dia of about 4.5inches.

Max overall dia of base of about 3.5inches.

Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition is excellent and is subject to:

Loss of a hand, which was probably ivorine as the only major blemish.
