This is a historic battle relic and was acquired along with some minor items from a WWI USMC Marine of the 59th Co. 6th Regt. The armor and helmet are both painted the same color and match for age and wear and have been together since WWI when they were taken as a battle trophy. The armor has some markings stamped in it that I photographed but I cannot make them completely out. The helmet has the ET 64 stamp and I do not find any other markings. This is a really historic set and likely came from the hard won battles the marine participated in during the great war. This is a RARE offering and would be a great man cave decoration along with a sniper rifle or gear and it a original and historic collection item.
