Up for offer is a very neat cased 1/9th plate civil war tintype photograph of Confederate President Jefferson Davis.The photo is housed in full case with mat and glass. The image is clear although a bit dark. The case is in solid shape and exhibits some period wear. The image comes with a letter of authenticity from the Horse Soldier in Gettysburg stating that the image was from the collection of the Lee\'s Headquarter\'s museum and was originally obtained from Davis\'s home along with one of his books and pair of his spectacles which were broken up and sold separately.
