You are offerding on an original1960s table lamp.The lampshade is made of cream sprayed paper with a subtle embossed waffle pattern. It is mounted on a white metallic structure and bears a large opaque white plastic lid placed on its top and acting as a light diffuser. There are two bulb casings. The lampshade and bulb casings structure threads through the chrome stem. It is possible to adjust the height of the lampshade thanks to a small chrome screw placed underneath the bulb casings. The circular base is made of cast iron lacquered black.

The lamp is in very good conditionand infull working order. The black lacquer work presents with a few age related marks and scratches as well as a few light chips along its edge. The chrome stem presents with some age related scratches where the screw allowing to adjust the height has bitten into the chrome. However, these do not interfere in any way with the overall look of the piece. The lamp takesthreesmall Edison (screw fit) bulbs and it is fitted with a UK plug. As with all vintage electrical equipment, it is advisable to have it checked by a qualified electrician.
