This sale is for an VintageChristian Memorial Prayer Card from 1904. This is a prayer card issued for someone who had past away. It is for a man named Edward Kern who died on Aug 23, 1904 at the age of 42 years old. The card measures 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches and is a thick cardboard...it is thicker, heavier and larger than the cardsmade today. It is solid black which was made specifically for mourning, with gold and silver writing and scripts. The sides of the card are also lined in gold. The back of the card is solid black. This is an original card. Click on the card to enlarge it to see it larger and clearer and to check the condition before you offer. In my opinion it is in excellent condition...especially for a 113 year old vintage card that has been stored away for113 years.Buyer to add $2.95 shipping with the card wrapped in plastic and then in an envelope with cardboard protectors.
