Offered is a nice original art by the great classic cartoonist GLADYS PARKER for the MOPSY Sunday page newspaper comic strip with the MOPSY MODES \"topper\" strip, which is a paper doll and cut-out fashions clothing. This strip was published on September 13, 1964, and syndicated by Bell-McClure Syndicate. Apparently Good Girl Art babe Mopsy has yet to be domesticated according to this uproarious pantomime episode. The logos of both strips are original art hand-lettering and are signed by GLADYS PARKER twice.
This page of art is HUGE! -- just about the largest page size for any comic art ever drawn. The art image area measures approximately 27\" x 19\" and was drawn with black ink on Bristol board. The Mopsy Modes panel tier was cut off the strip and later rejoined with staples and tape on the back of the page; otherwise, this over 45 years old art is in Excellent clean condition.
