Now here is something you just don\'t see everyday, or even know that it exists!
This is a piece of commission art of a TOPLESS MARY MARVEL receiving a physical exam from her doctor, drawn by ORIGINAL CAPTAIN MARVEL/SHAZAM ARTIST C.C. BECK!!!
This piece is hand drawn and painted by Beck himself from 1977! It is rendered on heavy weight (Crescent) illustration board. Approximate size of the piece is 15\'\' x 20\". There is some water stain/damage at the bottom of the piece, but totally AWAY from the image (a good frame will hide that).
Best of all, there is a letter from Beck\'s own stationary with a balance due ($100.00 from $140.00 for 2 art pieces <of which I own both>) and a statement from Beck saying that \"as to reproduction-neither Fawcett nor DC knows anything about this. Go ahead and make copies if you wish. If they sue you, tell \'em to jump in the lake--C.C.\"
Just to note, if you purchase ONE of the two paintings, you will receive a COPY of the letter (NOT the original). You will receive the ORIGINAL if BOTH pieces are sold TOGETHER or if someone buys the remaining piece.
This is such an awesomepiecethat any Captain Marvel collector MUST own it!
