Original Civil War GAR Group with 4 Button Sack Coat, Medals, Discharge Document:

This is a unique group that was picked up in North Carolina several years ago through an estate in Raleigh. The lot includes all items shown, Sack Coat with its original GAR buttons, GAR Medals, and discharge paperwork, and promotion document. Most of the GAR medals are from mid west states, The post commanders badge is numbered. The Columbus medal does not have anything inside the locket. The sack coat is in excellent shape, I believe it was a surplus coat used for GAR activities. The coat shows signs of wear and has light mothing throughout. It is in otherwise excellent shape.
