Original Egypt Khedive\'s Star Medal England British Campaign Bronze Medal 1882:

This medal is known as the 1882 Khedive Star Medal Egypt.  It is made of bronze and is in the shape of a 5-pointed star. The front side has an image of the Sphinx in front of pyramids.  It reads \'EGYPT 1882.  The back has the monogram of the Khedive under a crown inside a raised circle.  The suspension piece has a crescent with S 5-pointed star in the center.  The ribbon is a brown grosgrain, though since I have only seen this medal with blue ribbons, I believe this to be a replacement.  This was in a box of things from my father.  If you have questions or additional information, please email us.
