An Original Art Quilt Wall Hanging called \"Tropical Fish Ocean Scape\" This quilt shades from light to dark using Batiks and other 100% cotton fabrics to create depth, warmth and brightness for Ocean water effects. The single colorful purple batik fish is appliquéd to the ocean scene. Hues include; Sandy tans and Browns, blues and turquoise and purple. Pearl buttons were hand sewn on quilt for bubble effect. This quilt measures 12 1/4\" x 12\". The background is pieced with 10 different batik fabrics then machine quilted. The fish is raw edged applique, machine stitched, one of a kind design and machine quilted. The batting is 100% cotton. This small quilt is quilted by machine with cotton and metallic threads. The backing is a blue batik fabric that coordinates with one of the front fabric strips. Two small rings are sewn at the top back for hanging and a label added with \"by artisan, Sandra Corbin\" on the back..
